I forgot to post that my pumpkin cake balls DID work out. The coating was a little runny/thin on some, and slightly too thick on others, but they worked and were very well received. Thank you to those who replied to my frantic chocolate-melting questions.
I’d definitely make them again, though would probably either use candy melts or just actual chocolate (candy melts and I don’t really get along. Maybe we can make a truce tonight as I attempt to make peppermint bark…)
