    Olympic fever.

I love the Olympics. I love the spirit of them, I love the opening ceremony, I love judging all the outfits in the parade of nations (I think Sweden and Great Britain were my favorites), I love how amped up they get people about the weirdest sports (most of my friends were super into curling during the last winter Olympics). I love cheering for Estonia, since I’m more Estonian than I am anything else, even though the main things we’re good at are things like shotput and heptathalon (which I had to look up because I didn’t realize that WAS a thing.)

But I didn’t realize it would be so difficult to enjoy all of this without a tv! Apparently you can only livestream if you can sign in with your cable id/password, which obviously I don’t have since we don’t have cable. How am I supposed to watch mens’ gymnastics??

I went to a friend’s house to watch the opening ceremonies, where I was horrified to find that they didn’t air Frank Turner’s performance. Booooo. I found it online this morning, and it’s insane to see him play in a venue like that considering the last time I saw him it was like this.

Anyway, I’m off to mooch tv from my friend who I am catsitting for. Hopefully I haven’t missed much important stuff yet.
